There's loads lower than that, 12 is the record. Derbyshire's lowest is 20, as is Sussex.

To be honest, when I saw we were 9-6, 44 looked a looonnngg way off.

Gloucs need to bat well now. Its been hot and sunny in the West this morning. No reason why the ball should have swung much. Sounds like Gloucs might have prepared a "result" wicket, in an attempt to overhaul Glamorgan for 2nd spot.
