[Drinking] Decent pubs around London Victoria

Best places I ever did when I worked in the area were those around Petty France. All close to St James's underground but 10 min walk from Victoria.

Yes - Buckingham Arms. Two Chairmen and The Old Star all good.

Thre is a very good pub nearby....the Cask and Glass. But....it is on Wilfred and Palace. I kid you not :ffspar:

Plenty of great places to eat, if you're hungry, including Fanny's Kebabs. What's not to like?

Cask and glass is the answer don't judge from the exterior, although others are ok Victoria is in the process of vast rebuilding which means an influx of overpriced average chains reducing the options.

The Brass Monkey, (for many years the Lord Burleigh), a small 'local's pub on Vauxhall Bridge Road, just 2 minutes from the station is, or was when l last visited a few years ago, excellent.
