Hammond has never let us down in the very few games he has played... get's stuck in, and can actually pass (unlike Charlie).. my only dissapointment is that MM didn't try this option earlier... I mean, what was MM thinking... Mayo and Hinsh in the middle were both awful...

I think El-Abd is our best right-back too... Virgo for Butters will happen at some point, IMHO...

possibly, but first Virgs is going to play in goal against Leicester and then against Watford he's going to be Assistant Manager while Bob Booker has a day off.

I read that Hammond was on his way out with Beck and Lee so was surprised to see him in the team. Good on him though.

Can't really comment on Beck...

But Hammond has always played well for us at this level in the few games he has been given a chance... I'd see how he goes in the next few games, and extend his contract if he continues to perform as well as he did yesterday...

ALL OF THE LETTERS ON MY KEYBOARD ARE CAPITALS ...... but sometimes the letter on the screen are lower case!
