He had the odd moment where he looked good but overall was very one dimensional and quickly worked out by other teams. Perhaps he just needed to work harder and for one reason or another it needed a move away from the Albion for him to do so.

Time will tell if it is just another flash in the pan run of form or if he will continue to put in the effort to sustain his performances.

Some of you will know that I know Paul Jewell and do occasional scouting for him (when he is in work) When we played Derby last season, I met him before the match and all he wanted to know was where Dean Cox would be playing, out wide or down the middle behind the front two. Apparently, he is rated by a number of managers.
