The recent one was £ 250000, £ 3000, £ 1000 and 2 blues. She took £ 10000 :nono:

But based on statistics that was the right choice as you only have a 40% chance of keeping that £250k until the end. If you lose that box then the best offer you are going to get is £2,000 (if you end up with the the £3,000 and £1,000 box).
I see it as: Yes, she could have gone for the £250,000 but the offer of £10,000 is more than every other remaining box out there.

£ 10k is nice but won't make a jot of difference to your life. £ 250k will. You have 1 shot, I would rather not win £ 10k than lose the chance of £ 250k at that stage.

Don't know about you, but £10k would make a hell of a lot of difference to my life.

To think that the Tories - whose school-widened sphincter muscles some people so enthusiastically caress with their tongue on here - ever even have the NERVE to imply that others are workshy...tbh I'd probably be getting on my bike and looking for work...:tebbit:

For a lot of people £10k will make a difference. It might mean they can replace their car, or actually go on holiday. I think you have a warped sense of how well off the average person is in the UK.
