If you like Spanish Rioja (which I love and am drinking a glass of a little 10 year old number now), Eastenders are doing a deal where you get 6 bottles of Lagunilla Rioja Reserva for £37.50 and they throw in a case of younger Lagunilla (but very drinkable) for free.

Now that's 6.75 a bottle for a very, very nice Rioja, the free stuff (but still very nice stuff) you can offer your guests... which I did.

Doug it takes me 1 hour and 15mins from Crawley to reach Dover.Add one hour and 30 mins for the crossing which makes 3 hours.Anyway son if your prone to sea sickness then Dover is the answer. Also the boats are more frequent as well.Every 30 mins.Run along now son

We always go Channel Tunnel (25mins) and get our booze from Monsieur Pidout's warehouse which is the cheapest we found.
It's the very first junction after the ferry port.
There is a garage to fill up there as well.
All the lorry drivers go there.

How much do you pay for taking a car in the tunnel?

My uncle is a member of some club or something. He goes about twice a year.. I'm pretty sure he pays under £20 quid (with up to 4 passengers) each time on the ferry.

One of the highlights of his day is the channel crossing. I hadn't been on a ferry for years and to be honest I prefered it to the chunnel.
