Shame its not next weekend the Weald and Downlands Museum has a rare breeds show. For us tomorrow we'll probably go to Amberley Working Museum, for their Railway Gala...and the Ardingly Vintage Vehicle show is on too, as well as the Grand Prix, hard decisions to be made in our house! :)

Also no animals involved but the miniature steam club at field place in worthing (up the back near the tennis courts) has their miniature trains running tomorrow, worth supporting as they are great. Take a picnic if the weather is good and make your own fun....

The Clifton Arms in worthing was well known for it's animals, and they let kids in, but i think it's shut now, sorry.

Blackberry Farm is good, lots of play stuff as well as the farm animals, also Washbrooks Farm at Hurstpierpoint.

And I LOVE the Ashdown Forest Llama Park at Wych Cross.

Way out west
For a really cheap day out, see if you can catch the racehorses on the gallops at Findon :)

If your kids can run that fast is there any chance of them being ready for the Olympics next year?

Wasn't the park in Bognor originally called Paradise Park? I rememeber a lone polar bear being there that used to sit and rock backwards and forwards conastantly.
As for a suggestion on where to go, I have a cat and a rabbit if you want to pop round?

The Maybridge estate to the west of Worthing has some marvellous creatures.
