I can see the Adams striking masterplan now; 4-2-4 - Elphick/Virgo/Livermore/Whing hoof ball over the midfield duo to Andrew to flick on to Davies who barges his way into the penalty area before tripping over his own feet leaving Forster to tap in from 6 inches whilst Murray has a cup of tea and his photo taken by the running track.

He can be as arrogant as he likes for me if he can score the goals to help either keep us up or get promoted. I want goals I dont have to like the man.

I’ve met Craig Davies as he’s a friend of my friend Maxine. He’s from Blackbird Leys, in Oxford, and began his career at Oxford United. His was a raw talent when he was at Oxford and his attitude was often questioned as it has been since.

On the field, he is a centre-forward who likes to drift wide left or right. He is quick, which is just as well as Murray and Forster are no greyhounds.

Yesterday, I went to see Oxford United play Lewes. It was sad to see Guy Butters and Danny Cullip shadows of their former selves, though DC does have a full head of hair now.
