I can't believe Sven's not giving one of the other keepers a chance.
I personally would have started with Robinson.

When's Chris Kirkland back?

Pity Ben Roberts is injured - he could do a job!

He's a bit of a nob when he's being interviewed as well.
I don't think he has a sense of humour which is a bit
of a shame considering his hair syle

which is pretty much never.

I say leave James in the shirt. It's not like he's actually made a major mistake while playing, so leave him be.

Sadly the best keeper at the moment is probably Nigel Martyn, but he will not come back into the squad as just a squad player and I guess to an extent it would be a backward step to bring him back. With regards to James he has done nothing wrong in an England shirt, but he does not inspire confidence and for a friendly somebody else should be getting a game to see what they can do.

i was just about to suggest Nigel Martyn. Should have been England No1 since Seaman retired. Its a joke that Wright has been in squads despite the fact Martyn keeps him out of the Everton team.

I think James is a deent keeper and is my number 1 atthe moment.

It's a shame young keepers in this country hardly seem to get a chance. That Stuart Taylor at Arsenal looked good i reckon. What's happened to him? He's like 5th choice behind some nobody's that Wenger has signed.

If anyone was gonna be put in instead it should be Kirkland but his injury problems mean he will never achieve his potential.

The reason Martyn lost his place in the squad was die to the fact that Robinson was keeping him out of the Leeds side a couple of seasons back.

As soon as Kirkland gets Dudek out the side he will be Englands No 1

That WILL happen before the word cup as well
