My point is that yes we do need a new chairmen for when our Premiership ambitions come to life but in the mean time do we need someone who's disliked at his current club?. We of all clubs should be extremely wise when deciding over a new chairmen.
Yes, Dicks money has come through advertising but where's the shame in that?, where as Gold has made his money through desperate women having to strip off and sleep with a different man every 45 mins to earn a living!. Silent Bob if you ever go to Amsterdam, I'm sure your opinion on Advertising will not be as strong when comparing with the porn industry on whats a prouder buck.

I'm pretty sure David Gold isn't a pimp! As I said you may not like it but what he does is not the same as brothels or even sex shows.
I agree we should be careful about who comes into our club rather than getting pound signs in the eyes at the first hint of a bit more money... but I think there are a lot worse people we could have involved with our club than Gold.

Gold's earnings may be distasteful to some (including hypocrites like Skidmarks) but there is nothing illegal about it. Something that can't be said for some club directors. If he wants out of Birmingham that's his choice but I would have no qualms about him being on our board, the fact that Tangoman doesn't like him is very much a bonus.

I accept Gold may not be the pimp I may of made out but until we reach Falmer (which looks at long last soon) do we really need the JockStrap now?. Gold won't get us to Falmer any sooner, Gold won't/can't get us to the Prem until we're playing in a ground acceptable for top flight football.
It'll be Falmer which brings the success and Golds money, until we're there things won't change much. It'll be the same old story, star players and managers leaving, always missing out in the transfer market and complaints about the price of a ticket wont suddenly change because of Gold being at the club. Let Dick finish his time I say.
