I don't think it's pathetic; I have no problem displaying that as a mark of appreciation. I just feel a minute's silence is far more appropriate.

Indeed. It would be nice if Dave Sexton's death could act as a reminder to both sets of fans on Saturday that there are more important things than the frankly petty f***ing rivalry that both clubs have maintained for so long.

Have you ever been to an away match in Brizzle? I don't think they would be guaranteed to be quiet. Away matches in Brizzle, I have felt more uncomfortable than in most grounds (admittedly, i've never been to Smellhurst, though)
