Massive shock,I am his postie and delivered his post today .
Used to see him in his garden in Pevensey Bay and always chatted about his career at Brighton and Chelsea and football in general.
A nice bloke RIP Dale

Very sorry to hear this sad news. He was clearly a genuinely pleasant and popular character; he died far too young.......

Very sad.
He played in the first game I ever went to (Palace April 87) and nearly scored two own goals!

RIP Dale

Remember seeing him score a wonder goal from distance at the Baseball Ground in that dreadful relegation season when Alan Mullery returned. Unfortunately, we were about 0-4 down at the time.

Two very good craft breweries right next door to each other. Right beside Hackney Wick train station, which is a 7 minute walk to TaxPayers Stadium. Howling Hops Brewery, and Crate & Barrel. The latter does good pizza. Sure to be a few Albioné in there.

I really liked Dale, remember him so clearly. This is terrible news. So so sad, thoughts with his family. Wonderful player and just the best name too.
