That's actually truer than you might realise as he was born in 1955 and Generation Z are born mid to late 90s to early 2010s which makes it conceivable.

And despite the name of his band which is what I assume you were jokingly alluding to, he wasn't actually a Generation Xer as they started in the mid 60s, ten years after he was born
