He's Holland's all time top goal scorer, the premier league's golden boot winner for the past two seasons, he fits into three categories-over 30, league top scorer, 70 international caps. He is, of course, the peerless:

My first pick will be a World Cup finalist and a player that English football has really missed out on over the last 7/8 years. He has played for and won league titles with Ajax, Real Mardid, Internazionale and now Galatasary as well as a European Cup with Inter. He's definitely not past it as he has a 1 in 3 scoring record this season from midfield. I present the Dutch midfield powerhouse that is:

I don't doubt that for a second! On balance though, if I have to have one or the other I'll stick with what I've got!

Going to go for somebody who can fit in to the 2 hardest categories IMO.

Fitting in to Category 3 (Has never played at a World Cup) or Category 12 (Has played against Brighton) is somebody who has racked up 300 games and 80 goals by the age of 23, including 17 goals so far this season. IMO one of the Top 3 Premier League players...
