curb was on More4 on sundays at 9.30. I don't think it is any more but keep an eye out as they'll probably repeat them..

They're showing the first series of Curb on More4 at 9.30 starting this Sunday.

but to be fair Seinfeld just WASN'T funny

I didn't used to think so when you could only catch one random episode at 00:20 on BBC2 every third Thursday. It was only when I was working in Australia where it was on all the bloody time that I saw a few episodes in a row and understood the absolute genius of it.

I think that's a fair enough comment: it did take a few weeks to get into Seinfeld - I should give CYE another chance.

I love both CYE and Seinfeld.

BBC4 showed the second series a while back (and probably the first before I realised it was on) and I think More 4 just showed Series 4.

I didn't know they were going to show Series 1 on More 4 though (someone else posted above), so will definitely be watching that.

CYE is well done, but it doesn't have as many wry lines that Seinfeld had. You definitely have to see lots of Seinfeld episodes to follow all of the jokes as they do have running jokes throughout the series (as I've found out by watching the first 3 series on DVD recently).

Father Ted is better, but then they didn't write 180 episodes of FT.
