Do not understand the luke warm affection for Cullip. Absolute top-notch consistent performer for a few seasons.

I do believe someone has suggested we miss Harding more incredible! Must have a love for blond lily livered poor tackling left backs (no not Mayo with his highlights) that can run quickly in a straight line.

As for alleged bollicking of young players, he just bollicked everybody if it was necessary! An excellent Micky Adams signing.

Defence, unlikely. Not a good full back, didn't play much at centre half but not particularly impressive when he did.

He would have been used up front if we had kept him, but I'm not convinced he'd have had the same impact again.

Never said he was crap, but don't think we miss him as much as we miss having a proper left back, be it Harding or otherwise

Not at Championship level he hasnt.....

In my opinion the above is total rubbish. Virgo is an excellent centre back and certainly no worse an option at right back than El-Abd.

And your missing the main ingredient he bought to the team - spirit. We could have done with his leadership and fight particularly with Oatway out for half a season.
