Crystal Palace - new covered stadium

Not sure if this has been covered before on here but just been reading that the new owners of Palace plan to build a new covered stadium close to Selhurst Park.

Unless it means a retractable roof, games played in a fully covered stadium sounds pretty awful to me.

i would love to know where this mythical location for a new stadium is, which isnt in use or couldn't be used for whatever purpose the buyers Selhurst need. take a look on Google maps, its built up or parks for miles around. maybe they will build it, fittingly, next to the tip over in Mitcham

There's a massive sewage works in Beddington Lane. Perhaps they could build it there and then they won't need to disguise the smell.
