Apropos of nothing - Years ago I convinced my kids that Barry is short for Barrimond. No idea why I did it and promptly forgot about it until one day they were telling me that Barry is short for Barrimond - having forgotten that it was me that told them in the first place. I had to disabuse them, but it transpires they have spent years correcting their chums about the name. Ooops.
