Cricket 'wicked whispers'

Ian Botham is stuck in the 80's. How can he not realise that in 2007 a pre match routine does not involve Pedallo racing and getting pissed?

Some of his 'expert' commetary is also straight out of GCSE standard. If a team hasn't taken a wicket the best decision is not always to 'bring on a quickie'

No wonder he never lasted as captain.

is that a sensible reason to hate someone ?
It can be if you have to listen to them for hours on end. Sky just don't seem to twig that great players don't automatically make great pundits.

No, I haven't read enough amusing guesses yet.

Is the pundit in question also an ex player?

Yes he is.

I'd approach it like this - who is the most outspoken player in recent years, and who IS the worst pundit?

El Pres has clearly thought this one through...just the 'recent years' bit now.

Personally, I think David Lloyd is a shocking pundit and Colville is OK.

The most outspoken player in recent years is possibly Goughie.
