Hopefully they don't replace Maynard just yet.Crewe are a bogey team so i would be very happy with a point.

3-2 to us. I honestly think we are going to beat Crewe this time (but I'm not entirely convinced of the soundness of our defence yet).

I love the 1st game.
Every year, without fail, I always think that not only will we win 5, 6, or even 7-0.
I also think we will go through the season undefeated.

Naturally this all changes for the 2nd game.

It is sad isn't it. I am really excited about the Crewe game and really think we will win but it is definitely my heart ruling my head.

By this time next week we will have lost at Crewe, the relegation mongers will be out and the Wilkins in brigade will be saying he would have won at Crewe. At least I can be positive this week.

My prediction is Crewe 1 Brighton 3 (Forster, Murray and McLeod)

Wouldn't be sure that they will replace him anyway as they've signed Zola and Elding, maybe knowing they were going to lose Maynard.
