I haven't heard the helicopters out yet to clear the airspace? So I hadn't thought it had started but I might be wrong...unless something had happened on the ground?

I am there. Single seated glider stalled and crashed. Pilot got out and is still being treated scene. Shocking......hope he is ok

Stall=loss of air speed and therefore no lift.....not stall as in engine..Obviously

How does a glider stall??

If it is going too slow and/or the angle of the wing is too steep to the airflow to induce lift. Same with any aircraft and nothing to do with engines.
