Seeing as I'm a reasonable guy, I'll withdraw the 3 that have been contested and replace them with the following:

Johhny Hates Jazz: "Turn Back The Clock"
Brother Beyond: "The Harder I Try"
Glenn Medeiros: "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You"

Spaneu Ballet were a bit wank but compared to ABC?

Haircut 100, Howard jones, level 42, Sade, Shaking Stevens and Wham can all f*** off and die as well.

Buzzer, I think Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction didn't consider themselves seriously, Jimmy Cauty of Jamms and KLF fame was a member- Slam Thunderhide, I believe.

To this thread I add Vanilla Ice- suck satan's cock.

It's alright mentioning these bands but the true musical criminals of the 80's have been missed.

The masterminds behind the musical crimes of "I should be so lucky";"Too many broken hearts" & the afore mentioned "Showing out".
Hang your heads in shame Stock, Aitkin & Waterman.

Though just to show I'm not just biased against them dishonourable mentions must be made of Europe and "The Final Countdown"

I liked Level 42, Howard Jones, Spandau Ballet and Phil Collins (who was actually from the 70's)
I agree with Ned about the Stock, Aiken and Waterman era. Teeny bopper rubbish.
