I'm sure that BWP played out wide quite reguarly when he was at Southampton. Last season at Plymouth he was injured a lot, but still got 4 goals in 12 starts (1 in 3), at Saints he averaged about one in 3 starts too, consider that this was in the Championship. He's come to this level and shown he can more than perform, and seeing as he was a regular off the bench for Man City at 19/20 he clearly has something.

Someone who averages 1 in 3 in the Championship will always be expensive, as strikers are, and so too will a striker who would seemingly help a side get out of this division. A good striker will command a big fee, and big wages, and seeing as PLymouth are in a mess, i think we'd only be looking at paying the wages as the fee would be low. I'd go for both him and Noone.

Spot on. Plymouth moved him inside and his strike rate went up.

The main issues are his current salary and salary expectations (on the Plymouth Forum there are quotes that he has stated he is on 8K plus bonusses per week) and his criminal track record which may or may not say something about his attitude and may or may not be an issue for a potential purchaser. I have no idea and wouldn't offer a comment but I do know that I would do a deal if one were possible because he could be a relatively cost effective option to help take us up (but then again I would sign Hughes from Notts County without any compunction if it meant his goals improved our chances of going up).

Noone has just set up a goal for Zubar
1-0 to Plymouth
And Hughes has just equalised .

So they are not resting Noone for fear of injury then.

his goalscoring was mentioned in the Argus today. I think it was 6 in 12 games? But then it said he had a hattrick. So, read: discounting the hattrick, 3 goals in 11 games

also, he's on 4 yellows. taking a 5th today would have been nice of him if he is thinking of coming to Brighton.

How can you discount the hat-trick? They're still goals aren't they?!
