Didnt El Abd punch Cox on the training ground once?

He spent a lot of time chatting to Battipiedi as well, what does that tell you then ?

I wasn't suggesting it told us anything just saying it was nice to see

Cox kicked out at El Abd as they were getting up and Adam patted him on the head as if to say ' dont be a naughty boy' rather mockingly and Cox got the hump. That was how I saw it and it happened just in front of us.

that's about right but the patting of the head progressed to some heavy handedness in pulling hair, rolling Cox's ears and flattening his nose - all to look like a pat on the head!! Yes Cox did punch El Abd in training (then scarpered).

I remember Cox being belittled in a match where a tall midfielder told his team-mate "you look after the little cvnt" - which anyone would be understandably peeved to hear.
But, a small bloke who has heard that stuff all the time must get fed up more than many, and he was giving the opposing player serious verbal.
AeA would know what pisses Coxy off the most, and would likely put the Albion before any old pally thing with an opposing club's player - so if he was winding Cox up it would have all been for a good cause
