According to The Insider 'there are no plans to expand Falmer'. Whether this is reality or just a soundbite intended to appease the local residents 'for the time being' who knows, but I was under the impression that Falmer couldn't be expanded due to having to fit into the 'lie of the land' hence it's contoured design.

and the fact that its nottheirs - they are just paying rent.
And as for capacity, they were limited to 23,000 by the safety certificate as the stadium is not completetly finished yet

Its o.k for people to say 22k will be fine,but lets not forget we have to accomodate away fans in that
that leaves a measley 19k or so,but hopefully we will get to increase it some day.
