Could a FANZINE still 'do a job'?

In the days before the net and NSC, etc, there was a guy here in Adelaide who would compile articles from the Argus and any other sources that were sent to him by someone in Sussex on monthly basis. There were about 20 of us back then across Australia called Seagulls DownUnder.

It also meant we were about 1 month or two behind on articles.

How times have changed, still good fun though.
