Coppell has earned my respect. Verbally supporting Falmer is one thing, actually turning up and marching while manager of a rival team is another. I Wont be taking the piss out of him again.

Look, IMO Fair play to all who came, esp. Coppell, as Football is a large community, but he will get a clap at the beginning, and then he will revert to a much maligned figure of fun and Chrystal Phallus leg-end. He would expect nothing more, as any Brighton player, manager or fan, past or present would get at Palace.
I want to be able to give them stick and question their parentage, as I would expect nothing else back, without that it becomes another fixture.

Given all the stick he has got, it was big of him to come down, particularly given his club have an important game tonight.
If Iain Dowie himself had come down I would have been grateful, regardless of whether he's Palace or not.
