Coppell going nowhere - Brighton


Brighton have issued a firm 'hands off' warning after speculation linking Steve Coppell with the vacant managerial post at West Ham.
Albion chief executive Martin Perry has reacted angrily to the reports, which have seen Coppell's odds to succeed Glenn Roeder cut, by insisting that the Seagulls boss will be staying at the Withdean Stadium.

Perry told the Brighton Argus: "As far as we are concerned, it's all speculation.

"We haven't heard anything and we don't know anything. He is ours and that's it."
