I've never had an employer pay me a penny. Have had to do it all myself. Sob.
Still, switching from the dead dog of Lloyds TSB to Skandia a couple of years ago was the best financial move I ever made.
Opening a pension with Lloyds in the first place being the worst....

My company chuck in 5% if we put in 5%.
At the moment I put in 10%...however retirement seems a long way off
