Very busy, with lots of great items in the auction.

Some of the items went for INSANE amounts of money.

Brilliantly organised by Tim and the team from the Collectors & Historians Society and I think a fair bit of cash was raised to preserve the history of our club. Build a Bonfire went for £25 I think.

Good to meet Mr Izbak by the way.

Brilliant work

:clap2: :clap2:

Once again it was a good do, but I don't remember seeing such large amounts being spent on so many items. Great effort by the sellers and buyers alike.

I especially enjoy seeing what old tat World Football Fan of the Year Mr. Samrah went home with this year and once again he didn't let me down, even though Mrs. S is probably still shaking her head in despair :nono:

Well done Mr & Mrs History Man :albion2:

 Regards to Mr Hiney (& entourage)

Would it be possible to publish the results? I notice there were no complete season collections offered, will there be a separate auction/sale for these? I am thinking of selling mine from the 70s.

There were 2 complete sets in the auction - 58/59 & 59/60. One was unsold (reserve not met) and the other went for around £30 I think.

There were loads of complete sets for sale on the various stalls.

If you've got programmes from the 70s to sell, you would be best off selling them on ebay. The 70s are probably the most plentiful decade in terms of programmes.

Actually I thought that might go for much more. After all it is a piece of Goldstone history, and where else will you find the same thing?
