Hawkins was good today. I think he will be a regular. When the partnership develops we will look a lot tighter.

He was quite immense today, has to be said. I like the way he tackles THROUGH players from behind - they think they're about to receive the ball, then BANG - a big snakey LEG suddenly appears beside them and takes the ball first.

Sometimes.

Looked better as the game went on. Not entirely sure him and Elphick have got the needed pace between them though.

ive already decided that he is going on the back of the shirt for this season - and he has a FLAIR squad number for a centre back

How is a big hoof it centre half with a dull name like 'Colin' FLAIR?

I fail to understand you people, I really do. :nono:

Zola was a complete CARTHORSE though, it has to be said.
I've seen more movement and determination in a pickled egg.

i hope he grows his hair and wears a hair band that is inscribed with "i eat children for breakfast". then he would be the ultimate defender

do you think if we clubbed together and bought him a pair of orange/green boots, he would wear them? that would certainly up the flair count
