I used to go to the beach at Laytown on my summer holidays as a kid, can't remember ever seeing any horses. One summer there was really thick fog on the day of the races, think they still carried on, not much of a spectacle for the fans...bloody dangerous for the horses and riders.

Coast is FANTASTIC - I'm a big fan of the spooky Scottish longhair who, like the bloke in Dad's Army, likes a good story about ghosties, "an' awn a darrk neet, they see ye can STELL HEEERR the phantem feshermen o' Ccccccolbhuubnhnin SENGEN' from the clefftawp" etc etc. Brilliant.
