Club Texts

I'm sure we've had threads on this before but couldn't find one as it's quite hard to search for...

These official club texts seem to break the news straight away - was wondering

a) do you sign up for these on the seagulls site.

b) How much do they cost and how many texts do you receive roughly.

c) Are they worth it in your opinion? And

d) is there a way of just getting the texts about transfers etc - ie NOT every time there's a goal in an Albion game / NOT FT HT scores etc..?

That's what I think Notters matey. I don't want the goal alerts FT scores etc - just the transfer confirmations or important news.

My opinion on this is that (and apologies to those who do this) club text is useful but if you check NSC regularly as I do anyone who receives a club text about a signing posts it immediately on here.

Hence I don't really need to spend £4.99 at the moment.

Incidentally, those who do post the club text updates on here, THANK YOU!

You used to be able to sign up for this but they changed it.

I cancelled my news only service about a year ago when I got fed up with the amount of non news stories they would send out during quiet periods. It was 25p a text but now you don't get that option which is a shame.

Waste of money. A few seconds after they are sent, the news is on here and within 10 minutes on the club web site.
