TV chiefs are plotting a showdown between Dr Who’s most fearsome foes — Cybermen and the Daleks.

The Timelord’s robot enemies will confront each other for the first time in the BBC1 sci-fi hit’s 42-year history.

This was actually done in a stage play called The Ultimate Adventure written by Terrance Dicks. First Pertwee then Colin Baker played the role. It would have been around 1992 - 1993.

I think the Cybermen could be in for a shock. They may have a bit more pace what with having legs and stuff but Dowie will have the Daleks well organised. He'll string 7 across the middle to snuff out the Cybermen midfield.

Then again, you never thought a dalek could fall over. Watch the twattish Dalek on his own up front. He'll topple over if a Cyberman so much as breaths on him.

And then get up and take the penalty himself with his LASER.
