good luck to him, has proved a number of fans on here wrong and a ex manager very wrong. Quality footballer and still learning his trade

Not at all. I think he has proved a number of fans to be correct. He obviously has talent, but showed he was not willing to use it for us. He also seems to go through a club a season which would suggest that he is playing for himself until he reaches a club that he feels is worthy of his presence. If I was 21 or so, I would want to settle at a club for a while. If he is so desperate to learn, then it would be wise to have some form of continuation with coaches as opposed to jetting about and work under different managers every fortnight. I guess him and his advisors/agents/family are doing rather nicely with so many signing on fees.

i still dont get why people think McGhee was wrong over this - he wasnt pulling his weight and had an ego bigger than his talent. He wants to be a striker, managers see him as a winger. he did the same at Sheffield United and is used for 60minutes or a sub with Fenerbahçe and Turkey
yes, good luck to him, but unless he starts to put in 90-100% effort and play wher the manager wants, he will always be the nealry man. Maybe Hughs is the manager to get him working, but i wonder if he will keep up with the pace back in the Premiership, because he didnt before.

Will be a flop at Man.City

He wont be bothered, £1 million a year take home plus a massive signing on fee I would assume, stays on the bench for 3 years, wont have to bother with much ever again, and then of course his book deal.

Still Jam the Man knows different of course

Big doubts as to whether CKR can cut it in the Prem, and it's all to do with his character.

There are players who get a sniff of the big-time and it makes them work harder to stay there and improve themselves, meet the bigger challenges.

And then there are players who think they've made it, become big-time Charlies and don't kick on.

I don't think there's too much doubt which category CKR falls into. His only hope is a really good manager that puts him in his place early on.

If he goes for 4 million then that further reinforces that there is something seriously wrong with money in the Prem.
