Sexy Pete... :D
Hi all
Trying to get some help from the NSC Hive mind here....
I've just started my CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Practice Management. Very excited about this - it's a year long (ish) course with Brighton MET, and hopefully will give me a bit more help getting into an HR role.
Anyone from the greater good of NSC ever done this course? I have a concern that the job I do (more of a complaints and compliance management role) isn't going to give me enough ammo to work with later on in the course. Does this matter, or do I really need to start looking for a job as an HR administrator? Or is the course more theoretical?
As I say, very exciting, and will be very interesting - first seminar was last night and I'm the only bloke out of about 15 people, but there's a real mix of people there - return to workers, people changing career and people already in the HR/Recruitment sector.
Thanks!
