Child age 9-10 shirt

Anyone got a current 9-10 year old shirt?

We ordered one, which has been delivered and it seems rather big. It's smaller than my Large adult one, but the difference is nowhere near as great as I'd expect.

The label says size '40' whatever that means.

Anyone bought or ordered a shirt for a 9-10 year old? How big is it and what does it say in the label?

When it comes to the kids replica kits the sizes arent correct. The age group they say they are for doesnt tally up with the size. I bought my grandson a kit that said 12-18 months. The shorts & socks should fit him when he is about 4. I did contact the club shop & the manager said that the sizes are correct its because they are made in Italy. Unless all Italian babies are giants I cant see what that means. My advise to anyone buying kids kits is to ignore the age label on the coathanger.

My boy is 8 and in size 40 Bozza, but he is one of the tallest in his year.

I would go in the shop & try them on. If it is a surprise for him take one of his shirts that fit him & measure it up against the shirts.

Found the same as you Bozza, but we were in the shop so able to drop down a size. My son is 10 in October, and is tall and lean, but the 9-10 one just seem silly-big on him. Would have been right over other layers through the winter perhaps, but mostly he'll want to run around with it on as his only layer, or with something over the top perhaps. We dropped down a size (size 36) and it fitted much better.

Noticed online that 40 is actually small adult with 38 supposedly being 9-10. It was ordered online to be here in time for yesterday's trip to Leicester. What with it being printed with name and number it cant be returned.

But they have given us a bigger size than ordered...

Hi matey. My youngest is wearing his shirt at the moment and it's a size 38. Not sure what age range that is. I think he's slightly smaller than your girl and it's ever so slightly baggy but nothing too noticeable.

My "slightly" on the small size 8 year old is in a grow into 7-8 year old, fits and looks Ok but will last two seasons
My "tank" of a 5 year old is in a 5 - 6, fits well not sure about the latter part of next season
My Wife wouldn't wear one if I paid her
and I'm 49 therefore wouldn't been seen in one!

My son's 14. Not a very big 14, but not overly small either. He's got the home kit in size 9-10 and a small away kit. The home kit is a better fit...
Only problem is the badge is much smaller.
I don't really understand why there's nothing between the 9-10 shirt and the Adult small. He had a size 12-13 last year.
