Cheltenham will be tougher than before

This week at theirs, Cheltenham will definitely be a tougher game than earlier this season.
They just lost tonight v Bristol Rovers, 2-0. Rovers are also improving, and weren't a bad side down here.
Cheltenham are now very relegation-threatened, and looking at playing us twice more. They'll want BADLY to get points off us this weekend, as it'll be their best chance. Maybe it could give them a boost for the following game/s, getting a win over us this time.

I can only predict a hard game with crunching tackles, and loads of aggression from them if they can't get anywhere with it after a while.

We are coming closer to the part of the season where it's do or die, and of course our team has some 'doing' to get on with too, if we're hoping to make it up the division for playoffs.

In some ways, the season is just getting started!

Absolute rubbish.

I had the misfortune of being at the Gillingham v Cheltenham match on Saturday and both teams were dire.

We should hammer Cheltenham this weekend. They were poor all over the pitch (apart from Gillispie), slow to the ball, relied on the big punts up to Spencer and looked very shaky at the back. We will beat them by at least 2. FACT

it will be harder, they'll be desperate to finally get one over us. however... we should, if we play to our potential, which we certainly didn't at northhants, bowl this lot over. our playoff push starts or ends this saturday!

There is far too much angst, Cheltenham have certainly improved of late but so have we, I am optimistic that I will see us win this Saturday at Whaddon Road after two successive 1-1 draws.

You sound like a broken record, although that's being a bit harsh on the broken record. At least it provides an ounce of entertainment unlike yourself. Why don't you go upto the nearest brick wall and argue with that. It will enjoy your company far more than anyone else on here.:shootself

Mmm, I'm detecting a slightly defeatist attitude, but hey, if you go to every game in that frame of mind, I guess you won't be disappointed. In fact you may even be delighted when we win.

Not defeatist at all - just waking some people up to something, and I hope the team don't go in with the attitude that this will be 'that same rubbish', or else there'll be NO "when we win". I bet some people said the same about Mansfield, but that was on the cards, as well.

In this half of the season, there will be a few foxes running for their dinner - but several of the rabbits are running for their lives.

It Will Be A Lot Tougher Without Super Sub Elder To Come On And Rescue The Game For The Albion. Are We Going To Bring On Loft In The Final Minute Instead Like He Did In The FA Cup?

Speaking of last time, I remember Elder clearing the away stand with a 'volley' when we were 1-0 down.

Hardly a 'super sub' then was he?
