makes you sit up and realise what absolute sh1te deal Silent struck for the club over Zamora nd how he gets thruogh a loophole with his Hammers move. Laurel and HArdy another fine mess youve got the club into Silent and great lost opportunitry clearly the difference between professional football club like Chelesea and the Albion an poor contrast, yes of course he was good value at 100k and you can argue weve received some that payback already but it doesnt alter the way the admin at the Albion screwed up the Zamora deala and hearing the Leon del that Chelski struck makes yopiu all the more sick

Shite deal? 100k and 80+ goals over 3 years . We got 1 million when he was sold.

Any chance of such a shit deal with Leon would fecking delight me:salute:

According to a mate who works for Chelsea, the 50% came into effect as Frank Lampard was caught gaying 1 of the youth team players. DSk found out, asked for 3 mil to keep quite and settled on a 50% in Leons contract.

FACT.

once again does nobody realise that this talk is all irrelevant unless we get the cheeky scamp to sign a NEW contract. he was only signed on a two year contract last year thus rendering him an unmarketable commodity due to the inate fact that he will be on a bosman form the middle of next season any way. therefore any fee we may think he comands is undoubtedly going to have to be reduced reallistically by half and thus if chelsea do have a sell on fee then we are well and truly rodgered...

Look who gives afeck about transfer deals now. They're about as much use as relying on TV money to bail your club out.

Players (and more particulalrly) their agents are much more savvy about how the market is now heavily structured in favour of the big clubs and will now arrange deals accordingly.

if you don't like it, then don't sign the player................

thats really my point in a strange way.. we got the player, who may or may not cost us anything (yet) and all the while he's scoring goals were not regressing on the pitch as a team. i think it's about time that clubs, especially the smaller ones, start to use the players in the same way agents use clubs money.... keep him for as long as possible and then when it no longer suits US to keep him then we let him go at whatever the fair market value we can get for him...
