I saw that Merson stuff, it was embarrassing. There he is, being handsomely paid for his expert opinion to comment on the game - and he obviously didn't know any of the Moscow players, hadn't even bothered with the most basic research of their team beforehand and couldn't pronounce any of them.

You could have put anyone on here in the same chair and they'd have done a better job. The most bizarre thing was that he thought it was hilarious he was being shown up for being such a dunce on live TV, like a little schoolboy.

Was it Rob McCaffrey?? He's an absolute nob jockey.

His 'You're on Skysports' is the best where you can phone in as long as you don't criticise anyone for fear of upsetting his footballing pals.

Funnily enough my opening comment re Nicholas paled into insignificance the more i think about the programme. for it was pure comic genius and everyone took part. Wenger being "proud" of a team that missed 20 odd chances, ferguson doing his usual crappy pitch thing and celtics self destructive defence...charlie was astute enough to point out that his beloved celtic were not that good and that rangers were rubbish, the whole beutiful crap programme rounded off nicely with the nights best own goal at real madrid...yep vaudeville at skysport..oh and what about millards mad frankie frazer comment?
