Gattuso is a decent player, good leader. Doesnt offer much on the ball but an inspiration to those around him and never stops running.
Pirlo is a deep lying playmaker, there arent many of those around anymore. The last true playmaker I can think of was Guardiola. His tackling isnt too bad but his range of passing is awesome, as is his set piece delivery. Only problem is, some teams man mark him or close him down and therefore Milan struggle to keep hold the ball, as he is central to their play.
