Well. Doesn't mean too much in the end, some of the European giants are too good for Liverpool this season anyway... dont think they would have had much of a chance winning the title even if they had made it today.

All night? He was a 73rd minute sub who just lumbered around and then became anonymous as if he had played and run his bollocks off since the first minute of the match.

Shit player. Much rather have our JP or Welbz.
I watched him when he gave the ball away at the end and very much did a token track back to look busy / arsed but didn’t actually try to close the ball. Attitude seems poor.

How the f*** is that loud hailer allowed in there?
Seemed very silly - could see the bloke using it too and bellowing etc but stewards seemed oblivious to it / couldn’t be bothered which seemed bizarre. Palace have one too and sing songs about Eric Cantona’s horrible kids thorough it if I recall. Classy.

Ministry of Silly Questions has left the Albion fans meeting and manifested itself at Anfield...

'Will it feel like a missed opportunity ?'

Surely it would be better for us if English Clubs do very well in European competitions

It is but I think a top 2 coefficient place is all but secured - I think Italy had 3 go out in the CL last round or someone like that.

That potentially reduces the number of places available through the league, would rather the scousers won it as it increases our chances of qualifying.

Exactly - we should 100% be wanting Liverpool to win on Sunday for the Albion. Anyone thinking otherwise probably doesn’t get the implications.

Of course they would. They finished second in the group stage FFS.
Who gives a shit about the group stage?

The question is could Liverpool beat Bayern, Barca or Real Madrid anno 24/25 in the knockout stage and my answer would have been a firm no.

Do you know what the Ali Mac add ons are though? I’m not sure a second season CL win would be in there. We don’t know what they are?!
At the time it said 'easily achievable'. I have a feeling that it may not include top trophies. They've won the league anyway, so that should cover it.
