Well, I really think that comes down to his lacklustre brain. If he had more of a cool "lets put ze ball in ze gaal" attitude rather than "I'M GONNA SMASH THIS BALL LIKE MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT WOOP WOOP", he'd wouldn't miss those chances.
