Cash machines.

A&L have 'updated' their ATM's. They used to have plain screens with large yellowish writing & simple instructions. Fairly good even when read through dirty screens or in bright sunlight.

Now we have something like a web page, with ads for loans/mortgages & eventually you find instructions, all this whilst a q builds behind you. It can be a real struggle to read so did they consider their customers?

When I use an ATM I want it quick & simple, easy to read & operate. I had to give up on the A&L and use an Abbey machine. no doubt they will be 'updated' soon.

i hope they are better (faster) than the one outside the shop at 7dials - various messages about chip n pin, mortgage advice blah blah.. each stage needs double checking.

just give me the money!!

What I object to is the false advertising. The one I use has a sign above it 'Free Cash' but the buggers still take it out of my account.
