The system was an attempt to shut down Reading's wing play and push forward ourselves putting them on the back foot. To a degree it worked until the comical opening goal.

Totally agree. When we attack, like at Leeds we are good, when you play wingers but basically want them to defend we're shite.

It was a crap idea to defend for an nil nil, but play two wingers. Oops I forgot we were playing 3 up front. Truly woeful.
