I don't understand why he is still captain? Anyone who doesn't want to be at the club should be chucked in the reserves and certainly not remain captain!

How he is he supposed to encourage and inspire players on the pitch when he clearly doesn't care himself? Very odd decision.

As I was driving home I heard Mancini saying the announcement Tevez was staying on and would still be club captain was timed to give the players a lift before kick-off against Everton. Sure enough, they were 2-0 down after 19mins.
The classic is that had they won last night they would have been top of the table at Xmas for the first time in 81 years or something. I think it will be sometime before they get that close again.
