Managed to find a train from Bristol to Carlisle and back being diverted and adding 25 minutes to get to Birmingham - and one back at six o'clock to Bristol at 2310. Only £43 return as opposed to Sheffield for £48! - does not make sense.

Just looking at that myself. Does that put you on the 6am out of BTM?

Thanks Greens :(
I did the trip from Brighton last season. Out at 8.19am. and back by 12.30am. The supporters coach left at 5am. I think. Dread to think what time it got back

Try looking at tickets just from London, it's quite often cheaper if you book parts of the journey separately

tried all that, seemed to make no difference, oh well...

You must be doing something wrong as on thetrainline I immediately found the following...

London 08:30, arrive Carlisle 11:46 - £28
Carlisle 18:52, arrive London 22:45 - £14 (you can get the 17:52 for £6 more)

(You are looking on the 4th when you play them and not the 6th you stated, right?)

The Pro40 final at Lord's is on this day - I'm gonna wait and see how Sussex do in their next few games.

The 08:00 from Kings Cross is where it's at. :drink:.

Will probably end up doing the 40:40 Final at Lords if we get there instead though, but it's not looking good.

it may be because it is the same weekend as The Great North Run i run it every year and getting up there cheap is easy as they hike the prices up.
