Can't get to excited over the Carling cup, however Bristol Rovers will do for a start. Looking through the draw a couple of fixtures stand out, Yeovil v Plymouth should be a good one, as should Sunderland v Chester, I suppose you could call Posh v MK Dons a local derby too.

Uncle Buck could be right with his love match suggestion, both sets of fans belting out "we love you Brighton" or "there's only one team in Bristol", etc etc etc...

Oxford v Reading and Leeds v Huddersfield are both potentials for trouble

Bristol Rovers AGAIN, what are the chances?

Exactly the same odds of us playing any of the other teams in the draw.

The chances of us picking any team are exactly the same, but the chances of us picking the same team twice are different.

ie, if its a 1 in 60 chance (or however many teams are in the draw) to pick any team, then 1 in 3,600 of picking Bristol Rovers 2 years in a row.

Or is my GCSE maths just a long time ago....

As the draw was regionalised and seeded both years, then the chances are nothing of the sort.

Anyway, since last year's draw was a fact, the chance of drawing Bristol Rovers this season was 1 in 16. Good odds, but not that remarkable.
