My sisters mate has just moved to Cardif so we are likely to make the trip and stay over the night. Not Looking forward to running the gauntlet of hate after the game though, is it as bad as everyone makes out?

Who was that complete arse of a Cardiff fan who came on here about 2/3 years ago and made ridiculous comments about BHA basically being a waste of space, and I think said that thing about coming to Brighton and "we aint coming for a poxy point"?!!!!!!

That was a joyous walk along London Road after the game-loads of VERY wet Welshmen and Welshwomen(?), all moaning like hell about everything:lolol: "F**king Stadium", "F**king Poxy Ref", "F**king Poxy Brighton", etc. etc!

It was fantastic walking amongst them in my waterproof clothing while they were in very soggy jeans and various porous coats and jackets. They did look wet and cold....poor loves:lolol:

as 10cc say, not in hove
but temper all of this ant-cardiff stuff with the joyous welcome they gave us in may.

i've never been to a match where more locals wished us luck (against those bloody wurzels was normally the next line!)

great memories

Been to 60 odd grounds with the Albion, Cardiff twice in the 70's, vowed never to go again, and despite only living 1 hour from the place have never been since.

Leave it well alone, hopefully the stats of away attendances will one day alert someone at the FA that there is a problem, because up to now (leeds game apart), there have never been any sanctions against that bunch of head cases.

I am told that the away end is safer than it was. Certainly the kids that stood to our right last time cannot get at you as quickly as they used to be, I do not think they can get down the alleyway behind the stand, but I have to say after 4 interesting visits there, I am not sure I can be bothered again.

Might wait until September 2005 when England play at the Milennium Stadium.

It's the car park thats the bugger, safer to drive along the road to basra with an iraqi flag on the roof.

Somebody did say that there is now an away car park, which is a lot safer to get out.

You think getting to the car park was dodgy, try the walk back to the station, after the OB said if we were on the train, they would not give us an escort, as we were stupid enough to travel that way, so we could take our chances.

I do feel September 2005 could be a blood bath as a lot of aggrieved English nutters decide it is time for a bit of pay back on our provinical cousins.

Agreed........................ and it could have serious implications for our participation in germany.

A lad I know here in the west country has said that bristol city geezers are planning a little mayhem, and that can only be the tip of the iceberg, I suspect you are right, all those who have taken a bit from the bluebirds over the years will want payback, and England 'fans' away ( ticket or not) will be a bit of a different prospect than the usual small pockets of away fans they normally batter.
