I've also walked past a half-empty Bridge car park twice in two weeks. Both times about an hour before kick off. My guess is the reduced number of cars is probably pro-rata for reduced attendance those past two matches. A missing 2 ton chunk of metal is bound to have a more visible impact than the equivalent number of missing bums on seats

I don’t think it’s as simple as that. Each time the website has said that parking is sold out ie they are selling at reduced capacity from last season. I’m not sure of the reason but it does make for a better experience if you do manage to get a parking ticket.

But still a long way from being full, right?

I arrived at 14.30 and it looked at least 90% full to me. (50% last week)

However, parking was FULL on the Oscar's burger van lay-by on the A27.
